The purposes of the L-31N Seepage Management Pilot Project (SMPP) are to investigate technologies that can be used to control seepage from Everglades National Park (ENP), while minimizing impacts to Miami-Dade County's West Well field. Further goals for the Project include assuring regional freshwater flows to Biscayne Bay as well as providing for other existing legal uses. This site presents provisional results from in situ flow meters in monitoring wells at two stations on the eastern flank of Everglades National Park.
